Little Britain comedy duo reported to be breaking up but Matt Lucas says no
REPORTS THAT THE comedy duo behind the hit television sketch show ‘Little Britain’ are to break up appear to be wide of the mark with Matt Lucas today tweeting that he and his comedy partner David Walliams have not split up.
The Sun reported today that the Lucas and Walliams are to make separate shows for the BBC and that the proposed second series of their latest creation ‘Come Fly With Me’ had been scrapped.
Walliams was reported to be developing a classroom comedy where he plays a harassed teacher while Lucas is to front a show called ‘The Matt Lucas Awards’ where he hands out alternative gongs.
While both appear to have acknowledged that they are doing separate projects at the moment, Lucas told his Twitter followers that the pair haven’t split up:
