Liz Hurley may face multi-million divorce payout

The actress and her husband did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement before they married in 2007.

ELIZABETH HURLEY MAY lose a substantial amount of her wealth if she and her husband Arun Nayar decide to divorce.

The couple have announced their separation after Hurley was photographed kissing Australian cricketer Shane Warne.

Although Nayar is known as a tycoon, his wife is believed to be significantly wealthier. However, as the pair did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement before they married in 2007, Hurley potentially stands to lose a great deal, according to the Mail Online. Her assets include a £4.3million farmhouse in Gloucestershire and a £2.5million Chelsea townhouse.

Nayar has no known assets in the UK.

This morning, the actress tweeted:

Painful, sad days. Arun & I separated for private reasons but FTR he has been a great father to our son Damian & will always be in his life.
