London has changed some of its traffic lights for Pride and it’s just lovely

Love wins.

FORGET THE SINGLE green man giving you the go ahead to cross the road, London is doubling up to celebrate Pride.

Around the streets of Trafalgar Square – where Pride will be held this weekend – around 50 sets of little pedestrian crossing people have been changed.

To show two of them holding hands

They were revealed yesterday, and London has taken inspiration from Munich and Vienna who have done it in the past

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has said that the decision was particularly tough given the tragedy in Orlando:

Our thoughts and prayers are of course still with the families and friends of the victims of the hideous recent attack in Orlando.
These new signals show that we stand shoulder to shoulder with them and display the tolerance and celebration of difference in our city.

Walking the walk.
