Louise Duffy to replace KC on Today FM
FORMER EARLY RISER Louise Duffy has been announced as the new lunchtime presenter on Today FM.
Duffy will move from her 5-7am slot to replace Keith ‘KC’ Cunningham, who announced last month that he would be returning to his home in Cork to be with his family.
Duffy has spent three years as an early morning host and says that she’s “delighted” to be moving to the 12pm timeslot.
Duffy will be going head to head with Nicky Byrne, who’s been announced as the new mid morning presenter for 2FM.
Yesterday it emerged that Today FM’s Communicorp stablemate Phantom 105.2 has laid off around 20 staff members as part of a restructuring plan.
