There's going to be a Love Actually sequel for Red Nose Day next month
WE’RE FINALLY getting a Love Actually sequel! Well, sort of. Close enough.

Richard Curtis, who wrote and directed the original film, has confirmed that he’s writing a short Love Actually skit for this year’s Red Nose Day:
“We hope to make something that’ll be fun – very much in the spirit of the original film and of Red Nose Day,” Curtis said.
Most of the original cast is involved – Hugh Grant is reprising his role as the Prime Minister, with Martine McCutcheon returning as Natalie:

Keira Knightley and Andrew Lincoln will be there (and hopefully Mark will have stopped going googly-eyed over Juliet):

Colin Firth, Bill Nighy and Liam Neeson are also on board. Yes!

Rounding out the remainder of the cast are Rowan Atkinson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Sam), Lucia Moniz (Aurélia), and Olivia Olson (Joanna).
A notable absence is Emma Thompson – her on-screen husband, Alan Rickman, sadly passed away last year.
Curtis said he’s “delighted and grateful” so many of the cast have agreed to take part:
You’re telling us. The skit will air on BBC1 on March 24, Red Nose Day. We can’t WAIT.
