SU ELECTIONS ARE taking place in UCC today and tomorrow – and Martin Scally is going for the top job of SU President.
Last night, he made a last ditch effort to get out the vote – with an inspired parody of the Love Actually cue card scene:

Campaign manager Eoin Collopy tells DailyEdge.ie that the idea was all Martin’s – and it’s been a few months in the works:
We only finished it yesterday so we launched it last night. We had the idea while watching Love Actually at Christmas time, we thought it would be a funny and relatable way to get Martin’s vision for UCC across.
If Keira Knightley went to UCC, you’d have to think Scally would be getting her No 1 after that display.
