Dani Dyer's mam thought no one (including Danny) would see her stint on Love Island

Well, that went well.

LET’S BE HONEST, Dani Dyer has been the talk of the town in recent weeks.

Her blossoming romance with Jack in the Love Island villa has made the reality TV show one of the most popular programmes of the summer – something Dani’s mam apparently didn’t foresee when her daughter signed up to take part.

Jo Mas, who appeared on This Morning today, told the show’s hosts that Dani had some reservations about taking part in the show considering the fact that her dad is, well, Danny Dyer.

And that’s when Jo told Dani he’d likely never find out. No, seriously.

Jo reassured Dani that the viewing public would have next to no interest in the racy exploits of stunning randomers because the show’s run would coincide with the World Cup.

Nice one, Jo.

Jo recalled the exchange which took place between herself and Dani when the latter expressed concerns about her father’s potential opinion of her participation.

I said “Don’t worry about Daddy, he’s not going to know. The football will be on. Nobody watches Love Island”.

And as for the possibility her daughter might prove a success? Yeah, Jo didn’t see it happening.

You’ll probably get kicked out in a week. Have a great time, go and see the family in Majorca.

And the final cog in the master plan?

‘She said “What if he finds out?” I said just tell him you’re going on a holiday.’

Well, that went well.
