(Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched the episode which aired July 5th …)
ALL IS FAIR in Love Island and war, right?
The island’s two singletons, Georgia and Wes, were given the opportunity to take two people of their choice on a date. Not problematic at all.
Georgia picked Sam for her first date, with Wes picking Darylle.
Two boring dates later, (literally, there is nothing to write about), Georgia came back to the villa, admitting to Laura she wanted to pick Jack because he made her laugh.
Unfortunately for poor Laz, Jack seemed open to the idea of getting to know her more.
“I’m never going to close a book – I do find you attractive,” he said. “At the moment, things are going well with Laur.
If there was anyone to turn my head it would be you.”
The pair shared two (!) sneaky kisses, before returning to the villa.
Meanwhile, take a wild guess as to who Wes picked for his second date.
It starts with an ‘m’ and ends with ‘uggy Meg’.
On the date, Megan admitted she still fancied him and the pair also shared a kiss.
Back at the villa, biscuit fiend New Alex confronted him for grafting his gal.
Wes attempted to out-glasses him, with mixed results:
Where’d he get them? Nine Crows?
Anyway, after a song and dance courtesy of the Ministry Of Sound (#sponcon), the dreaded texts arrived.
The public vote decided that Megan and Alex, Adam and Darylle and Sam and New Ellie were the public’s least favourite couples.
Oh, y’all wanted a twist? Georgia and Wes then had to decide who they wanted to couple up with out of the bottom six, sending the other four home.
Savage AF.
Georgia picked Sam, Wes picked Megan, sending Adam, Darylle, New Ellie and New Alex home.
As Megan returned to Wes’ side, Twitter returned to slating her.
Is Megan ever going to leave the villa? Unlikely, she’s there forever now. You’ll see her next year, hiding in a cupboard, waiting to gravitate towards someone.
And everything else that happened…
- New Alex told Megan that Laura said Wes deserved better than her. Yikes!
- Samira said she felt “sorry” for Sam having been picked by Georgia. Double yikes!
