Love Island is officially over, and viewers don't know how to re-join the real world

That’s it, folks.

AFTER EIGHT TUMULTUOUS weeks, Love Island has come to an end, and Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer have been crowned the (rightful) winners after a summer spent in the villa.

Having coupled up on the first episode, Jack and Dani became firm favourites with viewers, and ultimately fought off competition from Laura, Paul, Megan and Wes in last night’s finale episode.

Although, let’s be honest here, the idea of anyone other than Jani walking off with the £50,000 prize would have been unfathomable.

And now that this year’s series has come to an end, hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to admit that their lives are damn-near empty without a gaggle of islanders to analyse and critique every night.

Seriously, what are we meant to do for the rest of the summer?

Maybe we could start a support group with this lot.

1. Any tips?

2. Most of us last night.

3. Do we have to start making plans now, like?

4. It’s not going to be easy, kids.

5. We’re just not ready to cut the cord.

6. Telling us to enjoy our summer as if Love Island wasn’t our summer.

7. What is life going to be like?

8. Some people are trying to look on the bright side.

9. But most of us are coming face-to-face with the reality of our empty lives.
