IT’S BEEN DRAWING in large amount of audiences for the last month but now we have the official statistics to back it up. The women of Ireland have Love Island fever and we’re worried about what it’ll happen when it all comes to an end.

Yes Caroline Flack, Iain Sterling and all of those singletons in the villa have us hooked and we’re not sure that we want it to stop.

Turns out a lot of us have been glued to 3e 6 nights a week at the moment and it seems that the ratings for the reality show are only increasing.

Last night’s incredibly dramatic episode which saw Josh recouple with Kazimir leaving Gerogia single drew in a viewership of 201,000 people.

So far, the show has had 1.5 million viewers and 3.6 million (yes million) catch up streams over on the 3 player. That’s DOUBLE what it was for series 3 last year.

If that doesn’t boggle your mind, 47% of all women under 25 have been tuning into the villa. HALF OF IRISH WOMEN ARE WATCHING LOVE ISLAND.

I mean given how dramatic it’s been this season, are we even surprised? There’s more twists and turns in the show than an Irish country road. We’re gripped.

Our neighbours across the Irish Sea are addicted too with an average of 3.4 million viewers tuning into the show on UTV2. 1.7 million of those are aged between 16-24 making it the highest audience for that age group for a digital channel ever. Incredible.

There’s still a few more weeks of loving to be had and we feel that the drama isn’t over just yet.

Remember it starts at the later time of 9.30pm tonight!
