Love/Hate's writer has revealed the fate of Darren!
Give us the Bambi eyes, Darren. Give us them. (Pic RTE)
HOLD ON TO your homing pigeons, people. Love/Hate’s writer Stuart Carolan has only gone and revealed the fate of Darren, months before the fourth season hits our screens.
You’ll remember that Darren took two (or three?) bullets to the head at the end of the last season:
But earlier this year, actor Robert Sheehan was spotted filming scenes for season four. WHAT? the world asked. IS HE COMING BACK?
Well, Stuart Carolan was on the Ray D’Arcy show on Today FM this morning. He started discussing the plot. And then he only went and dropped a giant spoiler bomb.
LOOK AWAY NOW IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO DARREN.
OK. Apparently he IS dead after all.
Yep. Sorry, everyone.
Carolan came clean and admitted that Sheehan would appear in the new series, but said Darren wasn’t coming back to life.
RIP Darren and his blue hoodie. RIP.
Farewell, hoodie. We hardly knew ye.
