Madonna posts 'love letter to hydrangeas' after fan flower complaint

The star didn’t quite manage an apology to the fan who apparently offended her with a hydrangea, though: “It’s a free country! So f**k you I like roses!!”

MADONNA HAS released a video response to the footage which emerged last week of the star receiving flowers from a fan before immediately turning to a companion to complain about the type of flower presented to her.

“Ugh, I absolutelyloathe hydrangeas. He obviously didn’t know that,” Madonna said after being offered one by a fan just moments before a press conference at the Venice film festival last week.

In a video posted on Madonna’s official YouTube site, the star is filmed cuddling an armful of hydrangeas saying: “You have no idea how many nights I have lost thinking how I hurt you”, before retracting the entire ‘apology’:
