IT’S HARD TO believe that it’s seven years since Game of Thrones began and it’s even harder to believe that the series is finally about to come to an end.
Filming wrapped up in Belfast recently, so the cast members celebrated at a massive party at the Waterfront Hall by the River Lagan with some other celebrities, including Jamie Dornan and Tony Hawk.
Cast members and fans have since been planning their goodbyes to the show, and yesterday Maisie Williams who plays Arya Stark in the series decided to say farewell in a pretty fitting manner.
In an Instagram post, she shared a photograph of her bloody Nike runners and wrote:
goodbye belfast. goodbye arya. goodbye game of thrones. what a joy i’ve had. here’s to the adventures to come #lastwomanstanding #barely #immasleepforthenextfouryears #justkiddingidontsleep
The 21-year-old’s hashtag “last woman standing” has gotten fans on Reddit speculating that she might be the only character to survive. However, we doubt they’d make it that obvious. It could simply be that she was the last woman filming.
