This Irish car ad is nothing short of majestic

It may not be original, but it’s special nonetheless.

SOME CLEVER CLOGS in Blarney, Co. Cork decided to get creative with his car ad last month.

The car? A 1995 Toyota Corolla.  Nothing special.  Or at least that what you’d think until you read the ad.

The virtual essay outlines a car with not only special powers, but a rich and cultured past.

Fabricated from rare minerals excavated from the core of Mount Olympus, artfully designed by Zeus and skillfully handcrafted in the Land of the Rising Sun by the deft hands of the infamous 7 Samurai.
In 1885, this car transported the Statue of Liberty to New York City from Paris.
Stereo system used for sound engineering the U2 360 tour.

Alas, we can not, as Irish people, take credit for this work of genius.  It appears to have been heavily inspired by this Australian Gumtree ad or indeed whichever ad inspired that one.

Whatever the inspiration, it’s nice to see people doing something a little different, eh?
