MELANIE DARNELL, A blogger from upset a lot of people when she posted a video of herself doing yoga poses on her child’s cot.

Melanie posted a short video to her Instagram, @fitmomma4two, which shows her doing various poses while her baby daughter plays in a cot below.

People immediately took issue with it

No one should assume that something like a crib is safe enough to withstand this!

Wow what she’s doing is stupid. I hope the baby doesn’t get hurt.

It’s not your skills that people are doubting, its the crib that people are concerned about. What if it breaks and your poor child gets hurt just because you wanted a few extra likes on instagram?.

Others defended the mum of two

Oh come on, do you think she’s going to do it without knowing how sturdy the crib is? Look the thing is solid, it doesn’t budge, it has a great base. This woman has been doing yoga for quite a while. She knows what she can do.

Melanie told People, that the comments made her “sad”, but she maintains she was never putting her child in danger.

Unfortunately, one of my recent videos has caused distress among several viewers and it saddens me to read such mean comments.
