Wife refuses to take back cheating husband despite his 15k Facebook 'likes'

All that effort. And for what?

THE POWER OF Facebook likes is not something to be messed with.

Ivan Lewis cheated on his wife, so naturally, she forced him to pose with a sign for a Facebook post admitting he had the one night stand:

I cheated on my wife!!! (and she was ugly!!!)

Just to clarify: She was not attractive.

His wife, Sonya Gore, had agreed to take her hubby back if the home-made sign received over 10,000 likes.

Well, it only took him two days to complete the feat when Lewis’ attempt to win her back went viral. He currently has almost 15,000 likes, and posted a grateful message to his friends last week.

Good morning face book for two days with tears n my eyes I been trying to figure out how to put n the words how thankful I am for everybody for helping me get the 10,000 likes I just want everybody know how much I appreciate the support AND I’M NOT GOING TO STOP UNTIL I GET HER BACK !!!!!!

Oh 21st century, how you slay us.

However, according to the Metro, Gore has since come to the conclusion that it was a pretty lame way of making up for infidelity and her promise to remarry based on Facebook likes was ‘not appropriate’.

Her recent Facebook post would suggest otherwise. We sense she’s coming around to the idea.

Her moment of clarity, however, only has 60 likes. It is yet to be seen if this will have any influence on her decision as of yet.
