A MAN HAS been arrested after making repeated emergency calls to report that his wife had thrown out his beer.
Carlos Bueno Mir, 49, “appeared intoxicated” when police officers arrived in response to his first call, WPBF reports.
When asked what the emergency was, he told them that his wife had “thrown out his beer”.
Mr Mir was told that the situation was not an emergency. However, he continued to call 911 in West Palm Beach a total of seven times over four hours.
UPI reports that he now faces charges of misuse of the system.
