AN ISRAELI MAN has divorced his wife after she brought 550 cats into their home and refused to get rid of them.
In his application for a divorce, the man claimed that he was not able to sleep in his bedroom because the bed was always covered by cats, the Times of Israel reports.
The man also said that he found it impossible to get into the bathroom, or to make any food in the kitchen, because felines were constantly getting in the way or robbing food from his plate.
At the behest of the rabbinical court, the couple reportedly attempted to reconcile. However, the woman involved ultimately decided that she would prefer to say goodbye to her husband than her cats.
