REMEMBER WHEN THE internet was filled with people dancing to Harlem Shake? Or how abut when your timeline was dominated by ice bucket challenges?

Well now there’s a new challenge taking the internet by storm.

Introducing the #MannequinChallenge.

#MannequinChallenge essentially sees people stand very, very still like mannequins.

The result? Videos that genuinely look as though time has stood still.

The craze has taken off among high school and college students across America and now there are hundreds of #mannequinchallenges on social media

Just look at this eerily quiet scene.

Truly the ingenuity of teens knows no bounds.

The videos are often accompanied by the song Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd and last night the band successfully pulled off their own mannequin challenge at one of their concerts.

The Pittsburgh Steelers pulled off their own mannequin challenge in the team dressing room yesterday

And they totally nailed it.

Props to these cheerleaders for somehow pulling it off while they were in the air, though
