Mariah Carey paid tribute to one of her fans who died in the Manchester attack in a really lovely way
ON MONDAY NIGHT, 22 people lost their lives and 59 were injured after a suicide bomber targeted an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester.
Among the victims was Martyn Hett, a 29-year-old PR manager and blogger. Hett, who was known for his irreverent internet presence and love of Coronation Street, has been widely mourned on social media following his passing with people describing him as “witty,” “charming” and “iconic”.
Additionally, people have been sharing stories of their favourite Hett moments, such as when he made his Mum’s knitting go viral last year.
Whoops!

Or when he appeared on Come Dine With Me.
Or when he got Deirdre Barlow tattooed on his calf.
Hett was also a huge fan of Mariah Carey and the singer took to Instagram to pay tribute to him yesterday.
“Devastated to learn that one of the victims in Manchester was part of the #Lambily. RIP Martyn Hett,” she wrote. “We will cherish your memory forever. His family and all the families affected are in my thoughts and prayers.”
In response, Hett’s brother Dan Hett wrote, “I was a little dubious about Martyn’s recent bold social media move, but it worked.”

Rest in peace, Martyn.
