Mary Berry was VERY pleased about winning Best TV Judge at the National Television Awards last night.
The 81-year-old baker bagged the award for her work on the Great British Bake Off – and as she headed to the stage to pick it up, she did this:
‘AVE IT. GO ON MY SON.
Her win is tinged with sadness for Bake Off fans, however, as this was her last chance to win as host of the show. Damn you, Channel 4. (Metro)
Speaking of the National Television Awards… as always, the style was very interesting.
Holly Willoughby looked typically glam in pink:

Alesha Dixon wore your nana’s good trouser suit:

Katie Price wore a nice warm jumper:

And actress Chelsee Healey wore everything. Bare shoulders, sleeves, lace, gold, a choker, a mermaid silhouette… It’s all happening!

Never change, NTAs. Never.

Brenda Fricker has dished out some advice to Ruth Negga after her Oscar nomination. Fricker knows all about it, having won Best Supporting Actress in 1990 for her role in My Left Foot.
Speaking to the Irish Sun, she said it’s “about time her record was broken” but to watch out for Negative Nancys (our words, not Brenda Fricker’s):
“I could mention three other Oscar winners – English – who told me they felt as if they were a criminal the way their peers treated them,” she added. Ah here.
And the rest of the day’s celebrity dirt…
