SO SNOOP DOGG, Matthew McConaughey and Jimmy Buffet are all in a new movie together which is a sentence I am writing in the year of our Lord 2018.

The trio are teaming up for ‘The Beach Bum’ which will also star Isla Fischer and Zac Efron. McConaughey was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night promoting the movie and revealed what it was like to be on set with Snoop Dogg.

Sounds like a hoot to be honest. He describes Snoop as ‘a prince of a man’ which is a compliment that is not used enough at all.

They got up to all sorts of high-jinx by the sounds of it but one incident in particular stands out.

I got Snooped and my particular snooping was recorded on camera and I’m not particularly sure what we did that night.

That doesn’t sound concerning at all. He continued;

There’s a scene where I’m going to Snoop because I’ve got writers block and Snoop has the magic weed.  So I went to the prop man to make sure I have the prop weed which is like crushed oregano.

A responsible actor. But that didn’t really help Matthew in the end.

So it’s a 6 minute scene where we pass back and forth and all of sudden at the end he goes ‘Yo Moondog’ [his character], that ain’t prop weed, that’s Snoop Weed’ and I was like ‘Oh you son of a a gun’.

So did they at least have a good time?

The next 9 hours were a lot of fun but I don’t think we used one word in the English language.’

I hope someone, somewhere has a recording of that night because that is footage that the world deserves to see.
