But will it be coming to Ireland?

WE MIGHT JUST have hit peak chicken nugget.

McDonald’s Japan has announced a limited edition 48 piece chicken McNugget bucket. And it looks like this:

It’s all a promotional stunt to for the J-Pop group NGT48 – and it features some of the band on the bucket itself.

They’ll only be around for a limited time only, but it’s still BIG news for some people

Excitement levels are at fever pitch

The closest thing we have seen to such a monstrous amount of nuggets is the 20 nugget sharebox that is available in the UK

So, what about Ireland?

DailyEdge.ie got in touch with McDonald’s Ireland to see if they had any plans to extend the offering. They said that the McNuggets are currently:

available in in two size options – 6-piece and 9-piece. At present, there are no plans to extend our chicken nugget range.

So, no dice.

Not only will the bucket be deprived from Ireland, it doesn’t look likely that we will be getting the 20 sharebox either.

Any communal trips to McDonald’s for nuggets you had planned will have to be postponed.
