IF MCDONALD’S BIG Mac Sauce is your life, you might want to look away now.

The fast food giant has just confirmed that it’s releasing a ‘limited edition Irish artisan burger’, with Ballymoloe Relish and Charleville Cheddar taking centre stage.

The McMór will go on sale this Wednesday in all McDonald’s across Ireland and will only be available for six weeks.

The burger is being touted as a showcase for the “best produce and finest flavours from across Ireland” including:

  • a ‘potato-flaked bun’
  • Irish beef provided by Dawn Meats
  • Irish bacon provided by Dew Valley
  • Shredded cabbage
  • Whole baby leaf kale
  • Charleville Cheddar from Kerry
  • Ballymaloe Relish

KALE! AT MCDONALD’S! What next? Chia seeds in the fudge sundaes?

We feel a taste test coming on. If only to ascertain what exactly is the story with a ‘potato-flaked bun’. Watch this space!

Will you be giving the McMór a go?
