These Meath lads came up with the best way to cool off in the heatwave

All they needed was some tyres and a silage pit cover.

WITH IRELAND CURRENTLY bathed in sunshine from coast to coast, people have been taking their annual opportunity for a dip in the sea – or anywhere they can cool off.

These three lads in Duleek, Meath went one better and took matters into their own hands.

They built themselves a class DIY pool in the back garden

Peter Lenehan, Sean Hyland, Darren Waters took to the task with gusto, as their friend who uploaded it to Imgur told DailyEdge.ie:

The pool was built from hope, dreams, stacked tyres and a silage pit cover. It took 5 hours to assemble and 2 days to fill with water from a hose.

Excellent work.

Stacked tyres and a silage pit cover? Perhaps the most Irish ingredients for a DIY garden pool you’re likely to see. Still, never have three lads looked more gangsta in a swimming pool than this.

Mo’ money, mo’ problems.
