Black Panther's Michael B. Jordan got a dig in at Roseanne Barr following racist tweet
LAST MONTH, ROSEANNE Barr’s career unsurprisingly nosedived after she made a racist comment when referring to former Senior Advisor to Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett.

The 65-year-old actress, whose eponymous sitcom had only recently been revived, saw the immediate cancellation of the show after she implied Jarrett resembled an ape in a tweet on May 29.
Having initially defended the tweet, the mother-of-five then deleted it and posted an apology, but ABC president and Roseanne’s fellow cast members refused to accept the apology or defend the sentiments contained with the actress’s initial post.

And it looks like the post has cast a long shadow if Michael B. Jordan’s remark at last night’s MTV Movie and TV Awards was anything to go by.

The Black Panther actor, who was awarded the Best Villain accolade for his performance as Erik Killmonger, used his moment in the spotlight to throw a little shade at Roseanne.
Taking to the stage, the 31-year-old quipped:

The actor’s remark was met positively, with audience members cheering Michael’s less-than-subtle dig at the TV star.
Viewers were also bloody delighted with the opener to Michael’s acceptance speech.
