Michael Fassbender and Jamie Dornan top star-studded IFTA guest list
IF YOU’RE IN Dublin tomorrow night then you won’t have to look far to find a famous face because there’ll be some big names in town for the Irish Film and Television Awards.
The official guest list from the big bash in Ballsbridge has been released with Michael Fassbender, Jamie Dornan and Saoirse Ronan leading the pack.
Fionnuala Flanagan will make her annual pilgrimage home for this year’s ceremony, along with Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Colm Meaney and Gabriel Byrne to name but a few.
They’ll all be joining hosts Simon Delaney and Laura Whitmore at the DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington Road for the 11th annual awards ceremony.
Steve Coogan, Jeremy Irons, Deirdre O’Kane, Amy Huberman and last year’s Rising Star Award winner Jack Reynor are among those confirmed to present awards on the night.
Other guests include Philomena Lee, directors Jim Sheridan, Neil Jordan and John Michael McDonagh, actor Niall Toíbín, and Love/Hate stars Aoibhín McGinnity and Lauren Kinlan.
President Michael D Higgins will also be on hand to collect an Honorary IFTA for Outstanding Contribution to the Irish film and television industry.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on RTÉ One on Saturday night at 9.45pm
