Irish man takes advantage of Michael Lowry's 'lovely lady' note, writes to Enda
YESTERDAY IT EMERGED that independent TD Michael Lowry had passed a note to the Taoiseach in which he reffered to a potential appointee to the board of the National Transport Authority.
In the note, passed to Enda Kenny last week in the Dáil, Lowry asked that former press advisor Valerie O’Reilly be considered for the role, adding that she was “a woman, bright, intelligent and not bad looking either”.
O’Reilly had a decent comeback of her own, while Dublin man Fergus O’Neill seized the opportunity.
Whoops!
