Michael O'Leary bought a load of passengers a drink after he delayed their flight
DELAYED FLIGHTS – THEY happen, and they’re not ideal.
How would you react though, if your flight to Amsterdam was delayed because of Rynair CEO Michael O’Leary himself?
He was on hand to personally apologise to passengers flying Liverpool to Dublinb after delaying a flight so he could pick up his Grand National trophy for the Stayers Hurdle, won by his horse Identity Thief, whilst his other horse, Tiger Roll, won the steeplechase in a photo finish.
Entertainment.ie did the maths, calculating that O’Leary spent about a grand on the gesture, despite winning over £500,000 from being the winning owner on his horses.
Basically, Michael is the person who doesn’t pay for the taxi, saying they’ll buy you a drink in there.
