'Passport please': Ryanair boss checks boarding passes at Dublin Airport

But was he checking whether passengers’ bags fitted in the gauge?

RYANAIR BOSS MICHAEL O’Leary is no stranger to publicity stunts and here is his latest this morning at Dublin Airport where he was checking the boarding passes of bleary-eyed passengers bound for London.

Twitter user Pauline Ray said that contrary to his perception as the nasty airline boss who wants to make us stand on planes and pay to go the toilet – which he does – he was “nice, professional and cheery with everyone”:

Although there was no news on his latest hair-brained idea to cut the cost of flying passengers all over Europe or whether or not he was checking if bags fitted in the gauge, we did note his rather cost-effective runners.

The anonymous user who sent this in tells us that ‘Michael O’Reilly’ checked them in for their flight to Stansted:
