GUESS WHAT. MILEY Cyrus has got herself into yet another spot of bother.

During a recent concert in Mexico Miley, wearing a gigantic fake bum, bent over to twerk while being whipped with a Mexican flag by her backing dancers. And the Mexican government is NOT happy.

Jezebel reports that Mexico has a law that protects ‘national emblems, the flag and the national anthem’ – breaking this law can lead to a fine or even jail time.

According to the AFP, the Mexican government has launched an official investigation into how it all happened.

The spokesman, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said “the company that brought her here would be sanctioned, not her” because it was the organiser’s responsibility to agree with Cyrus the content of the concert.

Cyrus’ team could be find up to $1270 – but the government has also called for someone to serve 36 hours in jail time.

Francisco Trevino, member of the conservative National Action Party, said the flag twerk was a “jibe” against Mexico:

They are hitting her with the flag, or cleaning her backside. It’s a lack of respect. The interior ministry must sanction the singer Miley Cyrus for desecrating the flag.
