Miley Cyrus was set to receive the Ultimate Choice award at Teen Choice 2017. 

Only six artists in Teen Choice history have been nominated for this award and Miley appeared to be an excellent candidate, with 18 Teen Choice Awards of her own at home already and a nominations for five more this year.

According to Metro, Teen Choice shared photos of Miley at sound check to their social media accounts, but at the last minute the star decided to pull out. Taking to Instagram to explain herself, she said:

I am beyond bummed I couldn’t make it to the show as I had every intention of being there to accept and celebrate this honor. I created an unrealistic schedule for myself.

She then went on to announce the release of a new single this week.

The rest of the show was reportedly a bit chaotic. Major stars like Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran did not show up to accept awards.

However, Zendaya did manage to show up and gave a powerful acceptance speech highlighting the events in Charlottesville, Virginia:

I wanna talk to all the young people in the audience right now. With all the injustice and hatred, not only in the world, but in our country, right now I need for you young people to be educated, I need for you to listen, I need you to pay attention.I need you to understand you have a voice and it is OK to use it when you see something bad is happening. Stay educated and do not let people tell you what you should feel.

It’s no secret that Donald Trump was very invested in the relationship of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart back in 2012.

The President of the United States tweeted the actor advice on how to proceed with the relationship at least ten times. After five years, Rob responded to Entertainment Weekly after they questioned how the whole thing made him feel. He got a bit too philosophical.

I think there’s so many different levels of it. Your identity exists on many different planes at the same time and they all can be quite different from each other. When he said that, it didn’t really mean anything.But I guess now I’m sort of thinking, like, ‘Well, I guess that is related to me.’ But how does that fit in with all the other things going on in my life? And sometimes you think, ‘Can I use this in my acting? Or should I be putting it away?’ It’s kind of interesting, I guess. I don’t know – this could be why people get annoyed with me.

After receiving a suspended sentence for inflicting a number of injuries upon Stephanie Davis, including breaking her nose, fracturing five of her ribs and bruising her very badly, Jeremy Davis happily strolled into Dublin Airport this weekend.

Friends cheered at the reality TV star, despite the fact he recently beat a woman who was holding their child because he was suspicious that she was having an affair with another woman.

They proudly posted a video to Instagram of themselves holding signs that suggested he would be doing his ‘community service tonight at The Wright Venue’.

And people wonder why women don’t report things? Even when an abuser is found guilty, they can still laugh it off and walk home to friends and family who treat the whole thing as a big joke. (Goss.ie)
