It turns out even 6 month old babies adore Oprah as much as everyone else as Mindy Kaling explained to Ellen.
Oprah hosted a screening of her and Mindy’s movie ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ at her house for all of the cast members which is an incredibly sound thing to do. As Mindy explained though, the house seemed to bowl over her 6 month old daughter Katherine.
She’d been really fussy the whole way over and I was like ‘Am I going to be the person who brings a screaming baby into Oprah’s cathedral of art?’

That’s a reasonable thing to be nervous about to be fair. Nobody wants to desecrate the great halls of Oprah’s home.

She didn’t have to worry though because everyone loves Oprah and is over awed by her presence including Baby Kaling.
The minute we walked in the door, her eyes went wide and she stopped crying like she knew she was in Oprah’s house. And then she was just being like coyly smiling and adorable for the next 4 hours.
The power of Oprah and her house knows no bounds apparently.
