LAST NIGHT, MOBILE operator 48 – the network exclusively for 18-22 year olds – suffered a serious outage.
The company posted on its tech forum that it was experiencing problems “across our network resulting in the failure of calls, texts and data”.
That caused serious problems for one user’s romantic life. Franc left what may be the most searingly evocative Irish missed connection of all time on the tech forum.
I was suppose to meet someone on a first date and my signal is gone! Im not sure if your on the 48 network John but if you get this message somehow, it’s Franc, I am at the Spire, I have strawberry blonde hair and am wearing a santa jumper and I am tanked up on Buckfast, my hands are freezing so find me soon and warm them up cos baby it’s cold outside!!!P.S 48 you may well be ruining my love life so sort it out!!!!
