This may be the greatest Irish missed connection of all time
LAST NIGHT, MOBILE operator 48 – the network exclusively for 18-22 year olds – suffered a serious outage.
The company posted on its tech forum that it was experiencing problems “across our network resulting in the failure of calls, texts and data”.
That caused serious problems for one user’s romantic life. Franc left what may be the most searingly evocative Irish missed connection of all time on the tech forum.
They were waiting at the Spire…

By the early hours of the morning, the company said the issue was resolved. But WAS IT TOO LATE?
