What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

The TV everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Brexit, Farming on the Edge (RTE 1, 9.35pm)

George Lee meets farmers and hears how the UK leaving the EU threatens their livelihood. British distributors and buyers have cancelled meetings in the aftermath, as well as discussing how the Common Agricultural Policy ensures quality at good prices.

Django Unchained (RTE 2, 9pm)

Fancy a decent movie on a rotten Monday evening? This is your bag. This Oscar-winning Western stars Jamie Foxx, Christopher Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio. A slave named Django is tracked down by a German bounty hunter who offers him freedom if he helps him track down criminals.

Beauty Queen and Single (BBC 1, 10.40pm)

This dating show sounds problematic, but also amusing. Beauty queens from Northern Ireland are stripped of their makeup and sent out on dates. The men aren’t the type they’d usually go for, so it’ll be interesting to see how they get on.

Everyone’s talking about… The Doireann Garrihy Project

DJ and all round influencer Doireann Garrihy has let us all in on some more details about her RTE PLayer show.

We can expect sketches, impressions, and it looks like she even plays a guard at some stage.

It’s available on the player from next week.
