Dublin to feature in new Sky One drama starring Ray Winstone
SKY ONE IS set to air new a adventure drama filmed on location in Ireland.
The two-part series, Moonfleet, has been announced as part of the autumn/winter schedule on the UK station.
The brand new family drama is based on the John Meade Falkner story and will feature British actor Ray Winstone as he leads a cast of smugglers on the hunt for a fabled lost diamond.
Set in the 18th century in a small Dorset village of Moonfleet, the plot follows John Trenchard, a young boy desperate to join the smugglers on their sea voyage.

The cast also features Aneurin Barnard, Ben Chaplin and Dublin actor Lorcan Cranitch.
Locations that can be spotted in the show include Howth, Drimnagh Castle and all the usual Dublin haunts–The Kings Inns, Celbridge, the Stag’s Head, and Silverstrand as ‘Moonfleet bay’.
