#MoreShamefulThanBrooks hashtag puts Garth Brooks debacle into perspective

Is the Brooks controversy really the biggest embarrassment in Ireland right now? These people don’t think so.

THE GARTH BROOKS debacle has been wholly occupying the minds of the Irish people for the past week, and there’s no sign of a let up.

In response to the ‘fiasco’, some Twitter users have been using the hashtag #MoreShamefulThanBrooks to try and put the events into perspective.

The resulting thread is pretty sobering.
