Morrisey says he sees 'no difference between eating animals and paedophilia' in new interview

He’s as restrained as ever.

SINGER MORRISSEY ANSWERED some fan questions on True To You, a site dedicated to him, this week.

In traditional Morrissey fashion, he was entirely reasonable and didn’t make any outlandish comparisons regarding his vegetarianism.

Oh sorry, actually that’s exactly what he did.

When asked about the motivation behind his disdain for meat eating:

I see no difference between eating animals and paedophilia. They are both rape, violence, murder.

Speaking about animal welfare law:

I would like to ask all so-called celebrity chefs why they believe that animals should have no right to live. If Jamie ‘Orrible is so certain that flesh-food is tasty then why doesn’t he stick one of his children in a microwave?

When asked about his greatest achievement in life?

Many people have told me that they stopped eating flesh because of something I said. I can’t ask higher than that, and I wouldn’t aim for higher than that. If you believe in the abattoir then you would support Auschwitz. There’s no difference.

Come on Mozza, you’re giving vegetarians a bad name!
