Would you hand your wedding over to your mother and mother-in-law?

New reality show for RTÉ is asking you to do just that.

FIRST THEY WANTED brides to hand over their wedding to the groom. Now the fiendish minds in reality TV ranks want to hear from newlyweds-to-be who are willing to give control of the big day to their mothers.

Animo television is looking for four couples who are hoping to have their wedding happen in spring/early summer of 2013 – but would be up for letting BOTH of their mothers take the reins of all the planning. The show is offering €10,000 towards each participating couple’s wedding.

If you are interested in handing over the planning stress to both mums – and they are in agreement – email weddings@animo.ie with contact details and a few lines about yourself, your partner and your mothers, explaining what’s special about your (soon-to-be-joined) family, how long you’ve been together and why the show would be right for you all.

If you can include a little video clip of you all in action (60 seconds max), you’re in with an even better chance.

The closing date for applications is this coming New Year’s Eve. The show will be called The Mother Of All Weddings, naturally.

Would you have morning-after wedding pics taken?>

Is Will Ferrell going to perform this guy’s wedding?>

And now we’re crying: Very cute One Direction wedding proposal>
