VIDEO: Your weekend movies... All Is By My Side
WHICH NEW MOVIE release is worth the price of a cinema ticket this weekend?
We’re here to help you decide just that, with these trailers.
All Is By My Side
For fans of: Jimi Hendrix, guitar solos
Avoid if: You hate rock n’roll
Jimi Hendrix (and André Benjamin, who plays him) obviously needs no introduction – and we all know that much of this film was filmed in Ireland. So keep an eye out for some familiar spots. One thing we’re not to hot on is how the female characters appear to be rather one-dimensional. Sigh.
Love, Rosie
For fans of: Romance across the water
Avoid if: You’re not the sappy type
This flick is based on Celia Ahern’s book Where Rainbows End, and follows two best friends over the course of 12 years. They never *quite* got it together, and circumstances seem to be against them… but will love win out in the end?
The Babadook
For fans of: Scary stuff
Avoid if: You’re a wimp
Mammy, I’m scared.
Fury
For fans of: Le Pitt, history
Avoid if: You’re not into battle-hardened army dudes
Set in 1945, Brad Pitt stars as an army sergeant trying to bring a crew (and a tank called Fury) into the heart of Nazi Germany. He’s promised his crew he can keep them alive, but can he keep that promise?
