ALRIGHT EVERYONE, TIME to grab the tissues and prepare once more for FEELS.

When Ben and Ali married in 2009, Ali’s sister Melanie shot their wedding photos in the empty house they intended to share and raise a family in.

Two years after their marriage, Ali passed away from cancer at the age of 31, leaving behind Ben and their little daughter Olivia. Now Ben and Olivia are moving, to start a new life in a new home. To say goodbye to the old one, they enlisted Melanie to recreate the wedding day photos with Olivia in Ali’s place.

Speaking to Today.com, Ben said the focus of the photo shoot wasn’t on their “grief and loss and hurt” but the celebration of their love.

Our lives will continue down a curvy and uncertain path, but Olivia and I will be able to look at these photos and know that for a short time there was a place where I was the luckiest man in the world, even if just for a little while.

Damn. That’s just set us off all over again.
