ROXY DANCKWERTS is the founder of Wild Is Life, an animal sanctuary in Zimbabwe. She took in Moyo the elephant when he was just a few days old, after being separated from his herd.
Now 14 months old, he sees Roxy as a second mother, and refuses to let her out of his sight. Which is sweet and all, but… He doesn’t seem to realise how big he’s gotten.
He runs riot in the kitchen, sticking his trunk into teabags, salt, brownies, and peeing all over the floor:
He even likes to munch on the silverware.
Roxy eventually hopes to return Moyo to the wild, but until then… she’s going to have to deal with this:
