NADINE COYLE ISN’T happy with accusations that have been levelled at Eamonn Holmes after she appeared on This Morning yesterday.

The controversy was born of remarks made by Eamonn during Nadine’s participation in a cookery segment of the show.

Commenting on the dish created by Gok Wan, Ruth Langsford, Eamonn’s wife said: “Eamonn’s salivating over there.”

Eamonn replied:

It’s Nadine I’m salivating over.

The exchange which took place between the 58-year-old broadcaster and his wife provoked a response on Twitter, with some criticising Eamonn for what they considered an appropriate remark.

Nadine, however, was quick to defend the TV presenter, insisting that she wasn’t in the least bit offended by Eamonn’s remarks.

Taking to Twitter, she questioned both social media and mainstream media’s response to her appearance on the morning show.
