Urban Decay is bringing out a new 'amber-hued' Naked palette - here's everything we know
REJOICE, MAKEUP FANS! Eyeshadow masters Urban Decay are bringing out a new palette, Naked Heat. Just look at it:
Previous Naked palettes have been all about neutrals, rosy tones, and the smoky eye – but this one is very warm and summery. Here’s what we know about it so far.
What’s the story with this one?
Orange-based eyeshadows are so popular right now – Urban Decay nodded towards the trend in their Ultimate Basics palette, but Heat is devoted to them.
According to the official announcement, the palette is all about “amber-hued neutrals, including warm browns, burnt oranges and rich siennas”.
Notable colours include He Devil (burnt orange), Dirty Talk (metallic copper) and En Fuego (a dramatic burgundy).
It’s not completely reinventing the wheel, though – if you already have the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, you can achieve a similar look with that.
There’s more than just eyeshadows, though
Unlike their other Naked releases, Heat seems to be an entire range, with eye pencils and lipsticks inspired by the shades in the palette.
The orange and burgundy eyeliners are nice, but we’re mostly intrigued by the lipsticks - Heat is a metallic red, Fuel is a peachy nude, and Scorched is a metallic bronze.
Whoops!

When is it coming out in Ireland?
Debenhams, the main stockist of Urban Decay in Ireland, tells DailyEdge.ie that they don’t yet have an Irish release date for the palette – but it officially launches in the US on June 30.
According to some eager beauty fans on Twitter, the Urban Decay concession in Debenhams on Dublin’s Henry Street is already taking names for the palette.
The previous Naked Smoky palette had a waiting list of 8,000 people in Ireland, so we can probably expect a similar fervour for this one.
We’ll keep you posted on when and how you can get your hands on it – watch this space…
