This girl tweeted that nobody showed up to her nana's art show and it was heartbreaking

She’s the new Papaw.

EARLIER THIS YEAR, the man that came to be known simply as “Papaw” broke hearts all over the internet when only one of his grandkids showed up to dinner.

And it looks like we have the same heartbreak on our hands again today.

As American teen Lily Jourdan tweeted last night:

“Came home from an away game & my grandma went to her art showing and no one went… she called herself foolish :(“

The tweet included this Facebook description of her nana Magdalene and her art show – it was all set up by her to showcase her work

Nobody showed :(

Since Lily shared the moment on Twitter, it’s been retweeted over 15,000 times

And the support has been overwhelming for her nana

People are genuinely heartbroken

Just like when Papaw happened, people are already trying to figure out ways to get there while the show is still on

The Facebook page that was originally set up for the event by Magdalene is now getting inundated with messages of support.

And now she’s an internet hero

Poor Magdalene. Hopefully the rest of the show goes a little better than the oprning night.
