Natalie Portman engaged and pregnant with Black Swan co-star

Actress confirms she is engaged to New York City Ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied, and the couple is expecting a baby.

ACTRESS NATALIE PORTMAN is engaged to her Black Swan co-star, French ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied.

Portman and Millepied are also expecting their first child.

“I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience,” Portman said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly.

Portman has already been nominated for a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her leading role as a ballerina in the thriller Black Swan, which Millepied choreographed. Portman is also tipped to receive an Oscar nomination for the role.

Millepied is a principal dancer with the prestigious New York City Ballet, and began his training aged eight.
