National Cleavage Day is trending on Twitter...
IF YOU HAPPEN to be out and about on social media sites today – especially Twitter – you might notice that #NationalCleavageDay is trending.
It’s being described by its creators as “a day for women to acknowledge that their cleavage is something unique and encourage you all to be proud of it”. Fair enough, notwithstanding that Wonderbra is the company being quoted. They even have a Hall of (Cleavage) Fame – a full gallery of the ‘winners’ is on the Daily Mail if you are so inclined.
The reaction on Twitter to the day is mixed. Some – like presenter Lisa Snowdon has tweeted a shot of her cleavage at the gym – while others, including Guardian writer Grace Dent, are a little more cynical. On the other hand, the (not X-Factor contestant) Katie Weasal just uses the trending tag to have a pop at Jedward:
Cleavage in... or out?
