8 new Southside Dublin pubs to try out in one classy pub crawl
WE’RE ENTERING THE festive season, so we’ve put together the perfect South side pub crawl of new venues.
Start off in Drop Dead Twice, on Francis Street
OK, this isn’t a strictly a bar, but it’s a BYOB cocktail pop-up. Just bring along a shoulder of your favourite spirits and the mixologist will do the rest.

Head up down to Parliament Street and hit The Ivy
Time to take things posh. The Ivy sits on the corner of Parliament and Dame Street and is the perfect place to people-watch. They don’t do a bad cocktail either.

Stall it down to Idlewild on Fade Street
Located next to the Market Bar, this little spot in Dublin specialises in a menu of beers chased with an accompanying shot. Are you pissed yet?

Hit the Rag Trader next, by sliding up to Drury Street
Chill out by the fire for a while if we’ve caught you on a particularly wintery day. This place just opened a few months ago, inside is rustic and cosy with over 40 Irish whiskies to try.

Then head over to Farrier and Draper on South William Street
Formerly Lost Society, this is ideal for grabbing a sofa in beautiful surroundings with a massive selection of cocktails.

Next, hit Lemon and Duke on Duke Lane
It used to be the Grafton Lounge, now it’s an aesthetically gorgeous cocktail bar owned by rugby lads Jamie Heaslip, Sean O’Brien, Rob Kearney, and Dave Kearney. It’s also the perfect place for a food stop, as the grub is top-notch.

Dash in to Zozimus on Anne’s Lane
If you’re not feeling glam already, check this place out. The umbrellas decorating the street outside will shelter you from the rain, and the inside is way classier than you deserve right now.

Finish up with a gig in the Bowery, Rathmines
You might have to hop in a taxi for this one, but it’ll be worth it.
The Bowery is the massive boat-shaped venue in Rathmines and there’s bound to be someone having a sesh up on stage. They do some seriously tasty rum cocktails too, if you haven’t enough booze at this stage.
