HERE IS A well-known biscuit. How do you pronounce its name?

Well, Dónal Mulligan has been asking Irish people this very question.

He found that Dubliners are far more likely to pronounce it rhyming with ‘fleece’, while people from the country probably rhyme it with ‘mice’.

Mulligan also discovered, bafflingly, that people who don’t drink tea (who are these people?) are more likely to go the country way.
