What's in my makeup bag? Nichola Graham

Having a rummage through our favourite faces’ wares.

EACH WEEK, WE’LL be taking a peek into some of our faves’ makeup bags to see their must-have products, because we’re nosy. This week, it’s the turn of makeup artist and head of Úr Makeup, Nichola Graham. You can follow her on Instagram here.

Her earliest makeup memories

“My ‘signature’ look has definitely changed. My earliest makeup memories includes my love of pop group 5 Star and their signature eyeliner (inner and outer). All very Cleopatra and at 44 now, it’s not something I can rock anymore.

My signature look now is very simple and more about flawless skin. I also only use cruelty free products in my personal and professional makeup kit now.”

Her makeup bag and what’s inside

“These are the three products that I use absolutely every day.”

L-R:The Beauty Kitchen Abyssinian Oil Facial Activating Mis, Dr PawPaw Tinted Ultimate Red Balm and bareMinerals Translucent Powder Duo.

The Beauty Kitchen Abyssinian Oil Facial Activating Mist – this is basically a natural alternative to hyaluronic acid which hydrates and plumps the skin before or after makeup. So it’s a great refresher throughout the day and it also smells amazing.

DrPawPaw Tinted Ultimate Red Balm - I’ve always loved this range. This red tinted balm can be used on lips and cheeks so it’s perfect for on-the-go colour. It’s extremely hydrating which works well during the colder months.

bareMinerals Translucent Powder Duo – I really love this powder duo. It’s ultra fine and baked so it won’t spill everywhere on the go. The mat powder is perfect for getting rid of shine during the day and the glow side adds a touch of sheen to the eye lids and cheek bones.”
